We have many years experience in project management of products, from the concept or prototype stage through to mass production. Many of our clients’ products currently manufactured have been designed and project managed by Palamino Plastics.

We offer a comprehensive in-house service for both product and mould design.  Drawings are produced using either CAD, in popular formats, and/or manually as appropriate. Rapid prototyping can also be arranged.  We do not manufacture moulds. We prefer to concentrate on our core business of injection moulding.

When our mould designs are complete, we submit them for tender to the specialist toolmakers in Perth, and if necessary, interstate or overseas. We do whatever is required to obtain the optimum price and/or delivery time for the client.

With long-term experience in designing all types of injection moulds, we engineer the moulds in the most cost-effective way relative to the product parameters. Where products have a high annual volume requirement, we design the moulds for longevity.  Should volume requirements be small, or the expected life of a product relatively short, we design accordingly, without compromising article quality. Again, this is to ensure that all costs to the client are minimised.

Our philosophy: There is no need to pay for a ‘Rolls Royce’ mould if a ‘Mini Minor’ will perform adequately.
